We want your lash experience at Fluttergirl Lash Studio to feel effortless from start to finish. Below you’ll find answers to our most common questions so you know exactly what to expect before your appointment.

 

Booking & Deposits

Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: All appointments are booked online through our Square booking site. Select your preferred service, date, and time  it’s quick and simple.

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?
A: Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit goes toward your total service cost.

Q: What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
A: We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Same-day cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows will result in a forfeited deposit.

Appointments

Q: How should I prepare for my appointment?
A: Please arrive with clean lashes — free of mascara, eyeliner, and strip lash glue. Clean lashes = better retention.

Q: Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
A: Eye makeup should be removed prior to your appointment. Makeup residue can affect adhesive bonding.

Q: How long will my appointment take?
A: A full set takes about 2-3 hours depending on your natural lashes. Fill appointments are scheduled in 1.5 hour time slots.

Policies

Q: What happens if I’m late?
A: A 10-minute grace period is allowed. After that, your appointment may be canceled and your deposit forfeited. Please be on time to so I am able to make sure you leave with 100% satisfaction with your lashes! 

Q: What is your no-show policy?
A: No-shows will result in a forfeited deposit. 

Q: Can I bring guests or children?
A: To ensure a relaxing and safe environment, guests and children are not permitted during lash appointments.

Aftercare & Retention

Q: How do I care for my lashes?
A: Wash lashes daily with a lash cleanser, morning & night! Followed by drying with a fan or blow dryer (on cool setting)+ brushing. Avoid rubbing or pulling, and brush them gently with a clean lash wand every day. 

Q: How often should I come in for fills?
A: We recommend fills every 2–3 weeks to maintain a full, flawless look. I will let you know during your first couple fills what the recommended time is best for you to schedule fills based off your natural lashes and lash cycle. 

Q: What products should I avoid?
A: Please avoid using lash or hair-growth serums/products while wearing extensions. These speed up your natural lash growth cycle, which leads to faster shedding and more frequent outgrown lashes. Oil-based products, mascara, and heavy eyeliner should also be avoided.

Q: How do I care for my lashes?
A: It is mandatory to wash and dry your lashes daily using our lash-safe cleanser. This keeps your lash line clean, prevents buildup, and promotes the best retention. Always wash your lashes after crying or sweating, and avoid touching, rubbing, or picking at them with your fingers. Gently brush your lashes with a clean lash wand to keep them neat.
